Step 1: Feasibility
a) Analysis of jobsite, take measurements.
b) Zoning issues - setbacks and placement.
c) Report to client all relevant findings.
Step 2: Preliminary Design
a) Define scope of work - develop a list of items you would like to have incorporated into your project.
b) Basic floor plan and if applicable, elevations illustrating your objectives.
c) Develop a general list of specifications or allowances that will describe the contents of the project.
d) Provide a cost range for the project based on the information as listed above.
Step 3: FINAL DESIGN PROPOSAL
a) Finalize the design proposal of all elements and details.
b) Finalize the list of specifications and selections - this would also include any allowances.
c) Finalize the construction price based upon all plans and information presented.
The design fee is determined by the complexity of your project and will be set after the initial meeting. The fee will normally be a percentage based on the total estimated cost.
Once Step 3 is complete, we will move into the construction phase where we obtain permits and begin work. Our Post-Construction Phase consists of the finished project presentation and obtaining a Customer Satisfaction Sheet.
