National Association of the Remodeling Industry,
2005 Contractor of the Year
Perhaps you are old enough to lament the following fact, or maybe you came of age after the era; but the landscape dotted with the view of glorious barns has been slowly slipping away. Great old barns are being replaced by newly constructed, metal-sided pole barns. Cheaper? Yes. More aesthetic? No. More efficient? Yes. Endearing? No. There is something about an old barn that pleads with you not to tear it down.
A client had an old pole barn filled with horse stalls. It was a small barn, but it was a barn nevertheless.
He found himself in need of a new office space. He wanted this offic close to home, and he had a barn that he wanted to continue looking like a great old barn. His question was this: Could he keep the grand exterior of a barn from the past, and still convert the interior into a modern, stylistic office for his business today?
Take a look! He could and he did. And for our work, Pritchett Brothers won the
NARI Regional Contractor of the Year Award for 2005.
